A MAN who carried out five house burglaries in the space of an hour has been given an 18-month community order.
Jason Talbot, 24, will be on a three-month curfew from 9pm to 7am while he lives at a flat in Woodvale, Darwen.
Preston Crown Court heard that he was caught soon after he carried out his last raid. A police officer was in that area near Greenway Street.
Talbot told police he could hardly remember anything.
The defendant had pleaded guilty to two offences of burglary. Three other offences of burglary with intent to steal were taken into consideration, all dating back to an evening last September.
