A MAN has died from stab wounds following a disturbance in Darwen.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene but were unable to save him, police said.
Chief Superintendent Dave Mallaby said: "A man was being treated by paramedics for what appeared to be stab wounds and has died prior to arrival at hospital."
He added that the death was being treated as suspicious and that several people were now helping police with their inquiries.
