Accident causes road closure at Abbey Village
BOTH lanes of the A675 Bolton Road at Abbey Village have been reopened following an accident this afternoon between Lilac Avenue and Junction 3 of the M65 (Blackburn West/Wheelton/Walton).
The accident is understood to have happened at around 2.30pm and the road was closed for two hours.
No details of the accident have been released by the police.
