POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a house was broken into in Blackburn.
The burglary took place yesterday (3 August) between 09:00 and 14:00 on Ermine close, Highercroft.
The offender used a brick to smash a window to gain entry and then stole items from inside the property.
A police spokesperson said: "Please remember remain vigilant and keep windows and doors secure at all times also remember to keep any valuable items stored away from sight and stored in a safe."
