GREYHOUNDS, lurchers and their owners will be putting their best paw forward next week to celebrate the fifth Great British Greyhound Walk.
The walk around Witton Park in Blackburn is being run by Anne and Norman from the Phoenix Greyhound group on Sunday June 21.
A spokesman for the club said: "The idea of the walk is to particularly celebrate retired racing greyhounds, to raise awareness and promote them as wonderful family pets once their racing days are over.
“We would be delighted if local greyhounds, lurchers, other sight hounds, and of course any other breed of dog from the same address with their owners, joined us on the 21st to help us make the Great British Greyhound Walk of 2015 even more successful than last year."
There is no need to book. For more information call 01254 388517.
