A DRAMA teacher from Blackburn is returning for a school's drama spectacular - with a little help from her friends.
When Gaynor Stubbs, headteacher at Wensley Fold Primary School, wanted to teach youngsters the value of friendship, she turned to one of her old pupils for assistance.
Mrs Stubbs used to teach Helen Robinson at St Thomas Primary and the pair kept in touch.
Now Helen, the creative force behind her own company, Learning Through Drama, has been enlisted by seven Blackburn and Darwen schools to host a drama workshop, on the subject of friendship.
The 30-year-old will stage workshops at Wensley Fold, Lammack, Lower Darwen, Roe Lee Park, Turton & Edgworth, The Redeemer and Newfield schools.
Each session will deal with a different aspect of friendship, before a grand finale, featuring all the schools, takes place at St George's Hall on Tuesday, May 8.
Youngsters will learn the words to The Beatles' With A Little Help From My Friends, to round off the performance for parents.
Helen was a teacher at Salmesbury Primary School and later worked at Westholme Boys' School.
