A CAR salesman from Blackburn avoided the wrath of Sir Alan Sugar and has made it through to the next round of hit television show The Apprentice.

Viewers saw Adam Hosker, 27, lose out to Andy Jackson in a vote to be leader of the boy's team.

But the former Blackburn College student successfully stayed in the running for the £100,000 job as his main rival crashed out in a coffee making challenge.

Adam was rewarded with a trip to the ballet and is now among the 15 contestants in the next round.
