NOMINATIONS have opened for candidates wanting to stand in Ribble Valley Borough Council elections.
Elections for the 40 seats on Ribble Valley Borough Council, 10 seats on Clitheroe Town Council, 12 seats on Longridge Town Council and 33 parish councils will take place on Thursday, May 3. To stand for election, candidates must be at least 18 years old and a citizen of Britain, the Commonwealth, the Irish Republic or the European Union.
Nomination papers must be submitted to Ribble Valley Borough Council's elections team by noon on Wednesday, April 4.
