FORMER Blackburn schoolboy, journalist Krishnan Guru-Murthy, has been shut down mid-interview by Hollywood star and Ironman actor Robert Downey Jnr.
The thespian was being interviewed as part of promotion for the new Avengers movie when he took exception to the line of questioning.

After being asked about his time in prison, Downey Jnr asked: “Are we promoting a movie here?”
Downey Jnr became increasingly agitated as the interview continued, sharing looks with somebody off camera before finally walking out after being asked about his ‘dark period’ of drug abuse and alcoholism, and his relationship with his father.
He said: “I’m sorry, what are we doing? Bye.”
In 2013, Pulp Fiction director Quentin Tarantino also cut short an interview with Guru-Murthy, famously saying, ‘I’m shutting your butt down,’ after being asked about the link between on-screen violence and off-screen violence.
