Brazillian musicians will be bringing the pulsating sound of samba to youngsters next week.
A series of workshops for youngsters aged seven to 16 will run over four days featuring percussion sessions on drums including surdos, timbales and agogos run by the Brazilian quartet in conjunction with Darwen St James Marching Band.
Workshops will also be available in woodwind and brass but children must supply their own instruments.
The workshops will be held at St James Church Hall and will run from 9.30am to 4pm each day from Monday to Thursday and cost £30.
Places must be booked as soon as possible on 01254 707741 or 07768 305097.
