TWIN teenage brothers who have honed their skiing skills at Rossendale's dry ski slope have been picked to train for Britain.
Luke and William Grummet, 13, regularly travel from their home in Wilmslow to Rawtenstall as members of the Ski Art Performance Club, based at Ski Rossendale, which focuses on the developm-ent of competitive-based skiing.
The boys joined the club last year after getting bitten by the skiing bug on holiday in Italy with their parents.
They both soon began winning national racing competitions, and last summer the director of the British Ski Academy spotted their talent at an event, and immediately invited the twins to train for three weeks with the junior British skiers in slalom. They fly to the Academy's winter base in France this month.
