DETECTIVES are still hunting a group of people who stole a taxi at knifepoint.
Shakeel Mirza, 37, of MM Taxis, St James' Street, Burnley, was threatened by two men brandishing knives when he was driving the men and two women to Huncoat.
The incident happened in Padiham Road, Ightenhill, Burnley, at about 12.25am on Sunday after Mr Mirza had picked the fare up from the town centre.
His green Vauxhall Vectra was found abandoned in a field in Bolton Avenue, Huncoat, on Sunday morning.
