A LOCAL pub in Knuzden will be lost forever after plans to turn it into a house were passed by the council.
James Cruickshanks has been given the go ahead to convert the Knuzden Brook Inn, in Knuzden Brook.

The building can now be refurbished to match surrounding stone-fronted terrace houses.
The existing signs will be taken down, and the painted stone front will be sandblasted, plans show.
A wall will be built to form a garden, and a small lean-to at the back of the pub will be demolished and rebuilt, documents also reveal.
In 2004, fresh hope was given to fans of the pub, which had spent months boarded up, after its previous licensee took the lease at the nearby Crescent Hotel in Bank Lane.
It reopening under new licensee Vivien Marshall, who said at the time the pub was getting back on its feet.
