POLICE are appealing for help to trace five men wanted in connection with various offences committed across East Lancashire.

Samuel Cunningham, 19, is wanted in connection with an assault and making threats in the Accrington area in December.

He is described as around 5ft 7 tall, slim build with short dark brown hair and blue eyes. He has a scar on his left hand knuckle and is known to have links to Accrington, Liverpool and Skelmersdale.

Christian Raeburn, 26, is wanted in connection with an assault in Accrington in November and is also wanted on prison recall.

He is described as around 5ft 6 tall, stocky build with short light brown hair and brown eyes. He has a scar on his left wrist and a tattoo of dots on the middle knuckle of his right hand. He has links to the Peel, Barnfield and Woodnook areas of Accrington.

Liam Sears, 20, is wanted in connection with an assault in Blackburn this month and is also wanted on prison recall.

He is described as around 5ft 8 tall, of a slim build with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos including one on his neck and the upper right side of the face.

He has a distinctive scar on the right side of his face running from his lip to the chin. He has links with the Wesley Fold, Fernhurst and Accrington Road areas of Blackburn.

Joshua Higginson, 22, is wanted in relation to breach of a restraining order in Blackburn this month.

He is around 5ft 9 tall, slim build with hazel coloured eyes and short light brown wavy hair. He has the word ‘Higginson’ tattooed on the back of his neck and ‘Mum’ and ‘Dad’ on the inner forearms. He is thought to be in the Blackburn area.

Michael Proctor, 36, is wanted in connection with an assault in the Whitworth area which occurred in early November.

He is around 5ft 3 tall, medium build with blue eyes and short ginger coloured hair. He has numerous tattoos including a bulldog on his left shoulder and various designs on both of his forearms. He has links with the Healy, Whitworth, Facit and Shawforth Rochdale areas.

Sgt Andy Horne of Lancashire Police said: “We need your help to trace these seven men who are wanted in connection with various offences that have taken place across East Lancashire recently. If anyone has seen them or knows where they are I would urge them to contact us.

“Similarly, if any of the men see this appeal themselves, I would also encourage them to come forward and hand themselves in.”
