CARL Fogarty’s celeb pals have backed the superbike champ to win I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

Blackburn-born Foggy avoided an early exit from the hit ITV reality TV show, which saw ex-footballer Jimmy Bullard evicted from the jungle.

But it was too close a call for some of his friends, who have spread their good luck messages far and wide on the internet.

In a 20-second clip appearing online, singer of number one single You’re Beautiful, James Blunt recorded a message to Carl — and asked him to say hello to former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson.

The 40-year-old Army veteran said: “You are the strongest, coolest, bravest dude out there in the jungle. I hope you don’t get voted off, man.

“Maybe you should get in the shower and show them that hot bod of yours, that’ll get you through.

“Anyway, good luck. Oh, and say hi to Kendra for me while you’re there.”

Other stars to send good luck messages to Carl include golfing superstar Ian Poulter, Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood, and football hard man Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock.

Lying topless on a deckchair while on holiday, Ian said into his phone’s camera: “Foggy’s in the jungle, Poults is on the beach, so a little message to all the followers out there.

“You need to vote for Foggy, he’s a right laugh, he’s having a great time and I think he’s a very deserved winner of I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!”

And Neil Ruddock, standing beside his wife Leah in front of a Christmas tree, said: “Foggy, come on, my son. I’ve been watching you on my telly. You’re doing very, very well indeed.

“I know it’s tough in there with snakes, spiders, and rats the size of cats, but we’re behind you. The Ruddock household wants you to win, so come on, Foggy.“I’ve just put my Christmas tree up, you’ll be home in time for Christmas. Good luck, son.”

Millions have tuned in to ITV to see Carl and nine other celebrities trade in their five-star lifestyles for the jungle experience.

Before heading in, the four-time world champion and MBE told the cameras he wasn’t a fan of ‘other people’, although it hasn’t stopped him making friends with Jimmy.

The former Wigan, Fulham, and Hull midfielder grew close to both Foggy and former X Factor hopeful Jake Quickenden., tipping them both for victory.

Following his exit, the chirpy camp jester said: “I thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m going to stay mates with all of them, well unless they all delete my number.”
