Woman, 83 hit by car
AN elderly woman escaped with minor injuries after she was hit by a car in Burnley.
The 83-year-old pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Manchester Road at 10am on Saturday.
Paramedics attended but were not needed and the woman did not go to hospital.
