A CYCLIST was airlifted to hospital after a collision near Blackburn town centre this morning.

Police said the male suffered injuries to his head after it hit the pavement following a collision with a vehicle in Bottomgate, which leads into Accrington Road, at 8.45am.

Officers could not provide an age for the man, but said he was conscious as he was airlifted to the Royal Preston Hospital.

After several scans and treatment doctors discharged the man.

Awesome picture of Blackburn, looking so verdant, spoiled by that out of area chopper.
NWAAS use 3 Eurocopter EC135, leased from Bond Air Services. The one pictured, isn't ours.
In fact, the letters on the fuselage don't correspond, either.
...
Let me guess; to get the story published, you stayed up all night, creating a diorama, which you photographed then Photoshopped in, the wrong chopper? As the new news boss says; 'no picture, no story'.
Oh, am so sorry but..
This morning, I went into town and got my new glasses, from Specsavers!
...
Why not make it a competition?
Where is that aircraft from?

Not sure anybody on here cares about facts, most just want to have a row, and if there's nothing there about race or religion to jump on then a picture of a helicopter will suffice !
