A BAKER has been showcasing his gravity-defying creations as part of Blackburn is Open.
Lee Shave raised some eyebrows with his varied collections of cakes during a street party event.
The 37-year-old, from Spring Bank Terrace, moved to Blackburn three years ago and started selling cakes through his Facebook page.
Encouraged by a group of friends who he was holding a party for, he set up the page and was soon inundated with requests. Lee, who is originally from Essex, said: “I’ve always been creative and I’m really enjoying what I’m doing now.
“I was originally in recruitment but packed it all in to give this a go. I’m looking to get a shop in Blackburn town centre and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I get something.
“At the moment I’m operating out of my kitchen at home, which isn’t ideal. Generally, people come to me with requests and that’s when I get really creative.”
