THREE people killed in a car crash near King’s Lynn were from Lancashire, police said.

The trio, believed to be a man and a woman in their 60s and a man in his 30s, were travelling on the A47 at around 11.15am yesterday when their car collided with a truck.

They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the lorry suffered minor injuries.

There was also a minor collision between a silver Ford Transit minibus and a white Mercedes Sprinter van following the first collision.

According to local reports, the minibus was carrying students from a nearby sixth form centre, who were left ‘distraught’ after witnessing the fatal crash.

Is this LT trying to grab headlines again, initially reported that the victims were from East Lancs. The family were residents of Newhey, god bless their souls.
