A FORMER Nelson and Colne College Sixth Form student returned this week to give a demonstration on cocktail-making skills.
Daniel Wright is a former catering and hospitality study at the college and now works at The Hinds Head, a Michelin-starred hotel in Berkshire owned by Heston Blumenthal.
Tracy O’Connor, additional learning support lecturer, was delighted to see and hear what he had achieved since last June, having worked with Daniel during his time at the college.
She said: “I have nothing but admiration for Daniel. Through consistent personal determination he has reached his academic and employment goals.
“I’m sure he is already setting himself new goals to aim for, and I wish him all the success for the future.”
