First meeting of Ribble Valley rural forum
A NEW rural think tank is set to hold its first meeting today.
The Ribble Valley Rural Forum will meet in Clitheroe to discuss issues facing rural communities including funding projects.
The forum has been organised by Ribble Valley Borough Council and the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Council for Voluntary Service and will meet at the Ribble Valley Council Chamber in Church Street.
It will include speakers from funding bodies and representatives of local projects.
Organisers hope to make the forum a bi-annual event.

It will be held from 9.30am to 1pm and is free to attend.
