A BREAK in at Chorley Football Club has caused an estimated £10,000 of damage to the main stand.
Intruders broke in through the roof of the boardroom within the stand at the Victory Park overnight on Wednesday.
Two television sets were taken in the raid.
A club spokesman described the damage to the boardroom area as “a real mess”.
He added: “The thieves have made a hole in the roof and caused extensive damage to the boardroom area of the main stand.
“A few things including the television were taken and initial estimates of the cost of repairing the damage are around £8,000 to £10,000.”
