DARWEN Cricket Club bosses say the upgrading of the club’s Birch Hall ground will see the ladies’ toilets refurbished before the start of the coming season.
As reported in the Lancashire Telegraph, the club launched a £25,000 five-year refurbishment programme last year.
Chairman Graham Ainslee said: “Our clubhouse continues to attract bookings and is a critical driver of revenue that is predominantly used to support our playing activities.
“We will be refurbishing the ladies’ toilets before the start of the season and will then start planning an update in the main bar area.
“There will be club social events through the season, starting with our very popular band night on May 11.”
