Sophie Lancaster Foundation five thanks for response

THE Sophie Lancaster Foundation have been ‘overwhelmed’ by the response to a new BBC Radio 4 play about the trial of the Haslingden gap year student’s murderers.

Kate Conboy-Greenwood, campaign manager of the anti-prejudice organisation set up in memory of Sophie Lancaster, who was attacked in Bacup in 2007, said: “Thank everyone who listened to Porcelain on Monday, and especially for sharing your kind, thoughtful and supportive messages and your generous donations in Sophie's memory."

Excellent play and production.
One newspaper preview referred to the feral killers.
Even six years later there have been no apologies from the parents of the murdering thugs.
