A PROPERTY owner has asked Rossendale Council for permission to alter the windows at his town centre flat.
Phil Redclift requires planning consent because his first floor Bank Street property falls within Rawtenstall’s town centre conservation area.
Mr Redclift said: “I would like to alter the velux windows in my roof.
“Specifically I would like to remove one ancient window opening, make four velux windows that are already present larger, and replace a bank of five fixed skylight windows with four velux windows.
“I also wish to reslate the roof with the existing slates.”
Rossendale Council’s planners will make the reccomendation.
