Darwen Motorcycle Club raised £1,100 for East Lancashire Hospice by holding a rock night at Hollins Grove Conservativ e Club.

They chose the hospice to benefit from their annual fundraiser as a friend and club member suffers from cancer.

Fundraiser Denise Gee is seen receiving the cheque from organiser Bryan Jepson outside The Anchor pub in Blackburn Road, Darwen. For Pete's Sake performed at the rock night on December 28 and one lucky visitor won a bottle of Jack Daniels in a free raffle automatically entered by everyone who bought a ticket for £5.
