CANCER battler Sam Shaw went into hospital yesterday after enjoying a Christmas packed with festive treats.
The four-year-old, in Philadelphia undergoing immunotherapy treatment in his fight against neuroblastoma, started his third round of treatment on Christmas Day.
It was the first of 14 daily injections for the Glencoe Avenue, Hoddlesden, youngster, who starts four days of 10-hour infusions tomorrow.
But mum Christine, speaking from the family’s temporary home in the US, said: “Sam is doing really well at the moment. Christmas Day was magical.”
