A NEW strategy to support people in Ramsbottom who care for needy and vulnerable people is being launched.
Around 80 per cent of the carers in the town and the wider borough do not access the support available.
A carer is anyone, of any age who, unpaid, supports someone who is either disabled, has a life affecting illness, is frail due to their age, or has a substance misuse problem and where the person being supported could not manage without help.
