AMBULANCE chief Bob Williams said a new Twitter campaign will help ‘break down the myths’ around 999 services.
The North West Ambulance Service [NWAS] wants patients to realise that ambulances are no longer sent to all incidents, and do not always take patients to the emergency department.
A social media campaign, launched under the hashtag ‘Team999’, will introduce patients to all the staff members they could come into contact with.
