GREAT Harwood residents are being asked to join in a community clean-up on October 12, to help spruce up the Railway Terrace and Clayton Street areas.
Skips, funded by Great Harwood Area Council, will be in place in the area and members of the community have been invited to get involved.
Coun Noordad Aziz said: “I’m delighted that the council and Lancashire Constabulary are working together to tidy up this part of Great Harwood.
“The last community clean-up in the town was a great success with many people coming along to help, filling the skips and generally sprucing the area up, many thanks to everyone.
“Please come along to help again if you can in the Railway Terrace and Clayton Street area clean-up. We want as many people as possible to get involved.”
