COUNCIL bosses in the Ribble Valley have been assured that the police station in Clitheroe will not be subject to any further cuts.
The leader of Ribble Valley Borough Council, Coun Stuart Hirst, chief executive Marshall Scott, and chairman of the Ribble Valley Community Safety Partnership, Coun Kevin Horkin, met with outgoing Chief Superintendent Bob Eastwood, along with Chief Superintendent Chris Bithell.
Coun Horkin said: “I have every confidence that the new commander will carry on the great work put in by his predecessor.”
