A PEDESTRIAN was approached in the street by a man who offered to sell him something before stealing his laptop and mobile phone.
The attack happened at around 3pm on Wednesday as the 35-year-old victim was walking in Clarence Street, in Blackburn.
Police said when he refused to buy anything from the robber, the man pushed him to the floor and then ran off with his grey and red bag containing a Dell Inspiron laptop and a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini phone.
The victim was left shaken but was not hurt.
Det insp Nikki Bithell, from Lancashire police’s eastern division CID, said: “It is thought that the offender got into a dark blue vehicle and drove off.
“I would appeal for anybody who saw the attack or the car to get in touch.”
Anybody with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
