PEOPLE from East Lancashire who campaign on behalf of older members of the community met last week to discuss how they can get better at influencing key decision-makers.
The annual general meeting of the North West's older people's champions took place at County Hall in Preston.
Speaking at the meeting, the chairman of Lancashire County Council, County Coun Mike Devaney, said: "Since the Older People’s Champions Network was set up six years ago by the Better Government for Older People initiative, we've been the lead local authority for the North West of England.”
