TWO people are facing trial after denying burgling an elderly woman in Burnley.
Charlie Smith, 32, of Bath Street, and Kimberley Cowburn, 49, of Thursby Road, Nelson, are alleged to have stolen £200 cash and cards on April 17.
Smith also pleaded not guilty to burglary and three allegations of theft when the pair appeared at Burnley Crown Court. Smith was remanded in custody until October 29 and Cowburn was bailed.
