A HALF-NAKED man allegedly molested two very drunk schoolgirls and held them ‘prisoners’ in a house, a jury was told.

One of the alleged victims claimed she woke up to find Mark Hagans on top of her in his boxer shorts, trying to kiss her, Burnley Crown Court heard.

Both she and her friend, who were aged 13 at the time, had ended an alcohol session by being sick and had then fallen asleep on mattresses put side by side in the property.

The girl alleged her bra was down, her leggings and knickers were round her ankles and another man at the house told her that Hagans had performed sex acts on her. She claimed others at the house “were telling him to get off us because we were only 13”.

The teenager said she and her friend told a school teacher what they alleged had gone on three days later on Monday June 11.

The day after that, the schoolgirl was said to have told her mother the defendant had raped her. Hagans was arrested on suspicion of rape.

Hagans, now 19, of Tong Lane, Bacup, denies three allegations of engaging in sexual activity with a girl, said to have taken place on June 8, last year.

The girl, giving evidence via video link, claimed to the jury that at the end of the night, Hagans was forcing her to drink alcohol. She was very drunk and couldn’t walk.

She alleged she woke up to find Hagans on top of her. She told him to get off her and he had said no. The schoolgirl said when she went to bed she had had all her clothes on.

The alleged victim claimed the defendant had tried to perform a sex act on her friend when the friend had been naked in the bathroom after vomiting.

She said she did not see it, but that was what her friend had told her. The girl said Hagans did do “stuff” to her friend while she was in bed. She claimed: “That’s what she said. She was shouting at him to get off her.”

The teenager told the court Hagans held them prisoner in the house and only let them out as her friend was going to be sick.

Keith Harrison, for Hagans, asked the girl if she had a good, clear recollection of what happened. She replied: “Yes, sort of.”

The girl told the court she was not actually saying Hagans had sexual intercourse with her. Mr Harrison suggested to the alleged victim that the man from the house sent her a message on June 9, asking: “Are you feeling alright?” and she had replied: “Ha ha. Yeah. I’m right, me.”

The barrister asked her: “Do you think you did that?” She answered: “Yes.”

The teenager agreed she had sent the man a Facebook message on June 12, saying: “He raped us.”
