Car torched in Blackburn field
A CAR was destroyed when it was set on fire in a field in Blackburn.
Firefighters were called to land off Higher Audley Street, near Jans Conference Centre, at around 10pm on Tuesday after they were alerted to the blaze by a concerned person who reported seeing thick black smoke.
On arrival, the Vauxhall Corsa was well alight and crews were at the scene for around 15 minutes.
