ENTRIES have poured in for the Whitehall in Bloom competition because of the good weather as organisers said gardens in the area were certifiably blooming with colour!
There is still time to enter, with the deadline for entries next Monday.
Judging will take place from Monday, July 28.
Town councillor John East, one of the organisers, said: “Schools, businesses, community groups and residents have entered and we look forward to all the colourful and spectacular entries.”
Entry forms are available from Claire’s Creatures, Bolton Road, Four Seasons Garden Centre, Ashton Road and Darwen Furniture and Gifts, Bolton Road.
