A WORKER at a Wilkinson’s store in Burnley completed a charity walk in aid of Pendleside Hospice.
Karen Hartley, a stock file controller at the firm’s Curzon Street shop, raised £65 when she tackled Pendle Hill.
Her donation was made as part of Wilkinson’s commitment to support local charities, and saw team members support Karen by spurring on shoppers, friends, and family to sponsor her.
Karen said: “The sponsored walk was a great success and a lot of fun.
“Everyone who took part from the community was in great spirits, and entertained supporters and passers by.”
