FIRE broke out at a flat in the middle of Clitheroe town centre this afternoon.
The small fire was caused by a toaster in a flat above a shop in Market Place at around 1.10pm.
The toaster was destroyed and the kitchen suffered moderate fire damage.
No disruption was caused to traders during the incident and one fire crew attended.
