A 12-YEAR-OLD boy who fell from the roof of a two-storey building in Accrington was lucky to escape with a broken arm.
Firefighters said the boy was playing on the roof of a 20ft building at Mount Carmel RC High School in Wordsworth Road at about 8pm last night.
They said they were amazed that he was not more seriously injured.
The Accrington fire crew broke in through the school gates so paramedics could get to the boy and take him to hospital.
