PEOPLE can get up close with Gawthorpe Hall’s textile collection and its curator tomorrow.
There will be exploration events and talks in the historic library where visiting experts will teach skills in making textiles from 1pm to 4.30pm.
It will be an ideal opportunity to see at first hand one of the products which made Britain great.
There will also be a chance to view lace from the 17th to the 20th century from across England and Europe not usually on display.
Admission is £25 and can be booked via www.gawthorpetextilescollection.eventbrite.co.uk
