MEMORIAL Park in Great Harwood will again host this year’s Friends of Memorial Park annual prom on Sunday, June 23.
Slaidburn Silver Band will play music for visitors – who arrived in their hundreds last year – for the event, which is sponsored by retiring Lancashire County Councillor Ciaran Wells through the Local Members’ Grant Scheme.
The prom will start at 2pm and last for around two hours. Visitors are being urged to take along picnic seats.
Hyndburn Borough Council is again supplying an amplification system.
Five hundred people turned out for last year’s event, which was on an Olympic theme.
