Guests can learn how to start researching history using online resources.
A guide to Lancashire County Council’s Digital Library will be explained, such as Ancestry and Findmypast. During sessions the tutor will help guests explore the sources by using worked examples, setting aside time near the end for paritcipants to practise on their own history.
Tools available will include census records, historic maps, newspapers and an image archive.
