THE North West Air Ambulance is calling for volunteers to help raise funds for its service at supermarkets across East Lancashire.
They are asking people to spare two hours to help raise awareness of their work and collect donations from customers between July and October.
The new recruits will act as an ambassador for the charity on the day and will be supported by North West Air Ambulance Charity staff.
The charity is reliant on public and corporate donations, and this year they need to raise more than £4.3 million to keep both of their helicopters operational.
