BURNLEY Council is helping food businesses become more efficient by holding a free business management event.
The event, which is being held on Wednesday between 12.30pm and 2.30pm at Thomas Whitham Sixth Form College, aims to give advice to takeaways and other food outlets on how to improve their food hygiene rating and also boost profits.
Coun Howard Baker, the council’s executive member for housing and environment, said: “Supporting local business is one of the council’s top priorities.
“This event will help food business improve the way they work and give valuable advice on how they can expand their business and generate extra profits.
“This is yet another way the council is backing Burnley business”.
