Agree completely. I posted a comment on a different story that mentioned race and it was taken down. It was not offensive, it just stated facts. I grew up in Blackburn in the 50s and 60s.

the LET doesn't check comments, as other papers do, before they are posted. If they did, we wouldn't have the issue...the problem is, that costs money because they'd have to employ someone so its cheaper & easier to do what they do & limit free speech for those of us that can put a point of view across without needing to be offensive, racist or insulting etc.

Saying my son got attacked by a gang in Audley, a well known 'no go zone', I thought I'd give you an example

The story of the Asian gang in London stopping people and claiming it was a muslim area, is another example that is hitting the headlines.

Maybe the innocent young lad who was simply walking down the road in Machester and was stabbed by a coward who got out of a car is simply 'insecurity'.

I'm sure poeple will give you similar examples for Brookhouse, Corpy Park, Whalley new road, ect
