A BRIEF court appearance has been made by a man accused of a sex attack outside a Burnley town centre pub.
Police arrested Ricky Stuart, of no fixed address, after a woman was molested outside the Inn on the Wharf pub, Manchester Road, on November 1.
Stuart, 30, was charged with attempted rape, sexual assault, assault by penetration, assault and theft.
No pleas were entered when he appeared from custody at Burnley Crown Court. He was remanded until February 8 for a plea and directions hearing.
Judge Simon Newell fixed a provisional trial date for April 2. The hearing is expected to last three to four days.
