Teenager found dead in his home in Brierfield

A TEENAGER reported missing on Tuesday night has been found dead at his home in Pendle, police have confirmed.

Danny Collins, 17, was said to be missing by his sister. Police later obtained keys for his housing association property in Chapel Street, Brierfield.

He was found dead inside the property at around 10am. Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances and a file has been passed to East Lancashire coroner Richard Taylor.

I will miss you so much Danny... I wish I could rewind time to when we had our last conversation just last week and was having a laugh! I never got to see your new house, but I know you loved it :-) I keep calling and texting your phone, I really wish you'd answer... but I just get "welcome to the O2 messaging service". Its so sad to see how close you were to people and me, and now knowing your not here... Sleep tight my angel R.I.P love you xxxxxx
