FORMER Manchester United and England winger Lee Sharpe will be the guest speaker at a sportsman’s dinner in Langho on October 7.
The event, organised by Pioneer ‘79 Swimming Club, will be held at Mytton Fold Farm Hotel.
Now a football pundit and reality TV star, Lee Sharpe won three Premier League titles, two FA Cups, a League Cup and European Cup Winners Cup in a glittering spell at Old Trafford before a succession of injuries blighted his latter playing days at Leeds and Bradford.
The night also includes a three-course dinner, comedy from Sean Styles, a sports auction and a raffle.
