COLNE actress and Strictly favourite Natalie Gumede has vowed to return to the dance competition on Saturday after fainting forced her to pull out of last weekend’s show.
The ex-Coronation Street star spoke out on Monday’s It Takes Two, the competition’s sister show, and promised that she would dance again on Saturday, live from the Tower Ballroom, in Blackpool.
Natalie, 29, said: “I had felt very weak all week. I think it was just exhaustion. My body just gave way, it just gave up. It’d had enough. I’ve been to the hospital and I’ve been to the doctors and I feel much, much better. I’m sorry I scared everybody.”
When asked if she was going to be performing on Saturday, she replied: “Yes! I might be down, but I’m not out.”
